Out of Bounds Violation, player comes from out of bounds, does not re-establish position prior to touching the ball

This is an example of an out-of-bounds violation. An offensive player who is positioned Out-of-Bounds must re-establish his position on the court by having a least one foot inbounds and not be touching out-of-bounds before making contact with the ball. On this play, the highlighted offensive player moves off the playing court on the baseline in his teams’ frontcourt and he then makes contact with the ball before re-establishing himself on the court. This a violation, and possession would be awarded to the opposing team.
