“This is an example of a Non-Basketball move where an offensive player swings his arms and he rips through the arm or arms of the defender. The offensive player, Dennis Schroder, abruptly swings his arms through the left arm of the defensive player, Mike Conley. But since Schroder moved the ball upward in a direction away from the basket, this was NOT considered a legitimate shot attempt, but instead, it is a non-basketball move, and the ruling on this play would be a ‘no call’ and a ‘play on’ situation.”
