“This is an example of a Non-Basketball move where an offensive player swings his arms and he rips through the arm or arms of the defender. The offensive player, Shae Gilgeous-Alexander, abruptly swings his arms through the right arm of the defensive player, Kessler Edwards. But since Gilgeous-Alexander moved the ball upward in a direction away from the basket, this was NOT considered a legitimate shot attempt, but instead, it is a non-basketball move, and the ruling on this play would be a ‘no call’ and a ‘play on’ situation.”
