Offensive Foul, Shooter extends leg into defender at abnormal angle Correct No Call, Shooter extends leg into defender, marginal contact Correct No Call, Shooter extends leg into defender, marginal contact
“This is an example of a Non-Basketball move where an offensive player abnormally extends part of his body outside his normal motion to shoot into a defender. The offensive player, Jalen Suggs, takes a jump shot, and he extends his right leg out in an overt manner, initiating marginal contact with the defender, Raul Neto. Since this is only marginal contact, this is a not an offensive foul, and instead it is a ‘play on’ situation.”
