Defensive Foul in the post, defender uses knee to dislodge opponent with the ball

“This is an example of a defensive foul for dislodging. The post defender, Rudy Gobert, uses his knee to dislodge his opponent, Willie Cauley-Stein. A post defender may not dislodge, reroute or impede an offensive player. A defender may legally position his leg between the legs of an offensive player in the lower defensive box to maintain his defensive position. However, once the defender’s foot is lifted off the floor, and he dislodges his opponent, a defensive foul shall be assessed.”
