“This is an example of a delay of game warning for bench personnel standing for an extended period of time. The bench personnel are standing for an extended period of time without sitting back down on the bench. This would result in a delay of game warning. Officials will first issue a verbal warning for this type of prolonged standing. If the bench standing occurs again, a delay of game warning will be assessed, and if it occurs yet again, a 2nd delay of game would be assessed, which would result in a technical foul.”
