Double Free Throw Violation, multiple players from both teams enter lane

“This is an example of a double violation during a free throw attempt. On a free throw that is to remain in play, multiple players on both teams, both along the lane line and positioned above the three-point line, commit violations by either entering the lane, or moving inside the three-point line before the free throw is released. Even though the ball went in the basket, the shot would not count, since both teams committed violations. The ball would then be put in play by a jump ball at midcourt between any two players in the game.”
