Flopping Violation committed by on ball defender

“This is an example of a flopping violation. The on ball defender, Zaire Williams, is defending the dribbler, Malcolm Brogdon, but following minimal contact, Williams launched himself backwards, falling to the floor while also throwing his arms up in an exaggerated and theatrical manner that was inconsistent with the nature of the contact. This is a flopping violation, and a non-unsportsmanlike technical foul would be assessed.”
