The offensive player, RJ Barrett, is in his normal shooting motion, and he makes contact with the defensive player, Furkan Korkmaz. This is a basketball play. The contact is correctly ruled an offensive foul, and not a flagrant foul, as the contact is neither unnecessary, nor excessive. There is no wind-up, hard impact or follow through by the offensive player. Again, this is not a Flagrant Foul.”
