“This is an example of a violation on an inbounds play. The inbounding offensive player, Frank Ntilikina, exceeds the 5-second time to make the inbound pass. This is a violation, as the thrower-in exceeds the allotted time limit. Following the violation, the ball is awarded to the opposing team at the spot of the violation.”
